Load Subtitles in Media Player Classic

Unless you are the exceptional who can read and understand 7 languages, subtitles have become the prerequisite to complete your movie experience in the different films produced in other languages. Media Player Classic fans may encounter the problem of unable to load .srt subtitle files to your video files, resulting in several frustration nights figuring out solutions and other alternatives. Fret not, here at Computer Guides for Beginners we will show you how.

How to load subtitiles in Media Player Classic

1) Launch Windows Media Player Classic

2) Under Playback, select Output

3) Check VMR9 (renderless)** under DirectShow Video
4) Check DirectX 9** under RealMedia Video
5) Check DirectX 9**under QuickTime Video
6) Press OK and restart Windows Media Player Classic

Now your subtitles should work just fine. Till next time. Adiós

if one does understand that many languages..the understanding may not be of the same level as the language which are native to us or which we used frequently..

Hey, nice post. Thanks for that informative post.

BTW, which one do you think is better? VLC player or media player classic?

Attn tangra chinatown:

Totally agree. By the basis of the fundamentals of language which is to communicate effectively, other people learning a different language is only on the superficial level. This can hardly be on par with the understanding spoken by the local tongue.

Attn zplits:

In my personal opinion, call me bias or what but I still prefer the trusty old media player classic. At its best, it can render almost all the movie files smoothly and effectively.

As for the VLC player, I feel that it is a sturdy player that is not very dependent on the likes of video codecs itself. But I'm more inclined towards the former.

Just my 2 cents.
